These African politicians keep on taking foreign loans, gambling and losing with it and then we are left to pay for it. When the British colonised us the first time, a railway was constructed, now we are letting the Chinese build another at balooned prices to line the pockets of certain plutocrats. Like Sankara said, we Africans have to stop taking foreign aid completely cause our gvts are corrupt. Now we taking loans we cant repay in a 100 yrs. If the chinese say they want to put their military here, we cant do nothing but oblige, if they want our ports, we cant do nothing but oblige, Africa is fukked forever.

A lot ofAfrican politicians practise garbage economics & want instant results, which shows that they can only think about today and at best tomorrow. If they want a 400 km rail, why dont they follow Sankara's model and build 20kms over 20 yrs, since the annual budget can cater for that. Instead,they budget for it, raise its price by 400%, then ask the Chinese for the loan. For the next 20yrs, Africa will be under the chinese economically. African leaders and undeserving plutocrats have no shame, how can you be a sphere of influence to foreign powers for more than 100 yrs?

It is rarely a good idea and a very precarious step to take when one allows a foreign nation to set up a military base in or on your sovereign territory, but given the interventions policies of the West one can understand the predicament most African countries find themselves in.
China has proven themselves a much better Trade, Development, and Economic partner than the West...one can only hope they are also a better Military partner

West, East, Central and Southern Africa can easily prosper if they set tariffs on the goods being exported; also less importation which...devalues the local currency.

Folks gotta to be more skeptical on candidates that won't use the revenue for their own monetary again and one that isn't a puppet.

Based on my knowledge of the IMF, it's like a financial totalitarian between the giver (Black Afro diaspora) and the taker (West). Self sufficiency is key, remember Sankara.
