Pretty much. They’ve exploited Americans biggest weakness of not holding politicians accountable. Just spit a bunch of lies during election season & do a bunch of bs your term. The public at large won’t remember that but will remember your theatrics. The short attention span social media era really doing work.
I’m on record about my issue with Dems but they are doing themselves a disservice playing the “higher” road card. Only so long you can play that before you get typecast.
Yup. Its part of why I push back when someone says something like "Dems need better messaging." I learned that the people who pay attention are always going to seek the info. The message doesn't need to be "better," it needs to be dumbed down and said often by people that Americans like.
"The average wages of workers since the 1980s have stalled" should be "You are making less and the billionaires are why."
Republicans pick something as an enemy and pokes at it until it does it's job and then moves TF on. Wasn't there a migrant caravan coming? People in Ohio eating pets? Why is this no longer talked about?
Work louder and more often, not smarter. I know, counter-intuitive, but messages need 140-characters rules because anything longer and people tune tf out. The high road is old news. Spend 4 years constantly on code about a message and say it until it's true in everyone's mind the same way the border was an issue but nobody seemed to care that Trump scuttled a bill that would actually fukking address it. Do your thing and be shameless about it.
