Lol I think they're pretty open about where they got their battle system from.
Anyway I'm stuck brehs, I'm on the second boss (3 headed serpent) and it put the beats on me twice what is the green head weak too? Any strategies for this? With them three heads it keeps me off guard and I can't get a decent interrupt rhythm going plus they be hitting both my dudes with one turn

Finally made it past the boss the trick was to remove my oculi and use Finn to attack their weaknesses. To me this isn't the type of game you sit down and play for hours on end you play for like an hour to just cool out.

I guess you would say that considering you seem to type suck at it, lol! I see you finally beat those bosses, lol. I haven't got stuck on any bosses yet or anything. While I've died a few times and I think the game is fairly challenging (on Hard mode), I haven't felt any need to seek out strategies or anything to beat anyone, as I've been able to handle anything that's come my way within a first round go so far, for most of the bosses. I'm on chapter 8 now.

I got to resist the urge to buy this...I got too much to play and Watch Dogs is about to drop.

You should've just bought it when it first dropped. A couple hours a day and you'd surely beat this before Watch Dogs drops. My homie beat it already a few days ago and I'm fairly deep into it myself.

Finally gave it a good run for a couple of hours last night and it's a lot of fun. The story so far does a bit to differentiate from typical norms but it's a basic quest...the characters however are really interesting (jester that sucks at rhyming got some chuckles out of me). The combat is a LOT of fun and the flight ability has me exploring instead of rushing to the next quest point which is always a plus to me.

Pff...I made him lean back. After putting the quick beats on his cronies, I cast slow speed on him repeatedly and cast fast speed on my party combined with unstoppable. Muhfukka could barely get any licks in and was short work.
