Agreed, I didn't see any in depth coverage on the matter. Doing a quick search online, I see ESPN, CBS, and others wrote on him being impaired and an officer stating he smelled like alcohol and his eyes were red. Those articles were from two days ago. They covered it more online than on TV. Will say, I would have expected CBS to not cover it considering they're televising the game. Super Bowl is damn near smoke and mirrors nowadays. I was surprised AB wasn't raked over the coals throughout the weekend. I only saw a NY Times article criticizing him.

In 2007, Britt was sentenced to 8 to 23 months in jail alongside his brother Garrett for running a "drug emporium" from their home.[4]
Reid was involved in a road rage incident in 2007 where he pointed a gun at another man's face. A lawsuit was eventually settled out of court for an undisclosed sum in 2014.[5]
Reid was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on February 4, 2021 that injured two young children near the team's training complex, just a few days before Super Bowl LV. Reid admitted to officers he had consumed 2 to 3 drinks earlier in the evening and was on Adderall, a prescription medication used to treat attention deficit disorder. Reid, as well as a five-year-old passenger of another vehicle, were both hospitalized. The five-year-old passenger was in critical condition and spent ten days in a coma.[6] The accident led the Chiefs to not renew Reid's contract, which expired at the end of the 2020 season.[7]
