Naw real talk, all I'm saying is, if you be in the city, Kanye don't got no presence within the underground street music community. He wasn't fukking with them nikkas. L.E.P. yeah, but that's only because of the connection with Bump J, who Kanye fukked with before he got locked up.

I guarantee King Louie never even met Ye at the time of that shout out. Ye just heard he was one of the hot young nikkas in the City. Talking bout "This is Chi Right?":mindblown: That nikka was looking out for himself with that remix, not Keef. He was looking out for Good Music, not GBE.

That's why Keef feel that way. nikkas talking about he should be grateful, naw nikka, that ain't how shyt work. The remix was not genuine

these nikkas is dummies. that shyt happens OFTEN in the industry. if you a superstar rapper, who done did everything you can do, said everything you can say, eventually you start looking to artists under you for buzz/ideas/etc. You think Dr. Dre still producing his beats? :skip: No, his interns are. Remember all the artists Devante had under him back in the day? Missy. Timberland. Static. Ginuwine. You think he wasn't using they shyt as his own? :pachaha: How many music videos from flash in the pan artists have we seen Diddy on? Its almost a ritual for every new major rap artist to have Jay-Z featured on their debut, you think Jay has a problem with that promo? :pachaha:

Point is, It happens. Established Rappers/Producers/Writers are ALWAYS looking for whats hot at the moment. And nobody knows whats hot more than nikkas fresh off the block. With that said, Keef has a right to feel the way he does. Kanye tried to ride his wave & make it sound like Keef owed him a favor when Keef was bubbling regardless. Is it a smart move? :manny: He has a right though.

i dont know about u but where im from when somebody takes your shyt without asking then thats a form of disrespect.

how do yall justify kanye just blatantly changing the beat of the song and just throwing his artist on there where keef dosent even have a verse and saying this is okay without never speaking to him or saying he wanted to do it?

I never paid attention to the remix.....Keef not on his own damn song :damn: :pachaha:

This is so true but he 17 and got a hood nikka mentality. He knows nothing about political correctness, which is why one of his handlers who's more aware probably had that shyt removed.

thats the problem. if dude saves his hood mentality for the music but learns about the politics of the game he could do something serious in rap.

im not even a fan of him like that, but just seeing how other people like his music and how big his group is growing, they could be a problem. they just gotta be smart in the next year or 2 and stack up that money.

This is actually very true. Apparently its an unknown secret that JD and Jazze Phae Phae had damn near every up and coming producer in Atlanta working for them at one point: that goes for Drumma Boy, Shawty Redd, Polow etc...

The same can be said for 2chainz. He called out a couple rappers who started dikkriding his wave when he got hot but who have been knowing him for years.

He threw a lil sub at T.I for hoppin on that riot remix on the breakfast club a minute ago.

These superstar rappers are girls man..

Keef going through the maturation process. Saying shyt like that tweet only builds enemies and makes you vulnerable to criticism and being blacklisted in the industry. Be grateful people came to help you and themselves by associating with you.

Yeah the only problem I have is alot of people look down on stuff like that when it shouldnt be. When people find out Dre had producers under him they are all up in arms like ahhh he's a fraud similarly to how some people are reacting in this thread "fukk Kanye, Chief Keef dont need him blah blah". While its slightly a different dynamic w/ producers and rappers, for producers the relationship is mutually beneficial. Learning and collabing with other producers especially those who have the success you hope to achieve one day is a great opportunity. One of the flaws of up n coming producers is they dont know hot to necessarily "produce" a record (arrangements, composition, etc) and learning that from a Dre is crazy.

Not really. Keef said Ye didn't make him hot (which is true) And people took one stance or another.

And ghost producing is hustling a nikka all the way around. You might get compensated, but the major producer is keeping his name hot off your beats and getting paid more. Producers are status symbols, so to say x is producing my record has value, before a nikka even hears the beat.

Ghost producers can't build their name by doing that shyt. If I got a hot beat I'm selling that shyt, point blank. Them nikkas be on some not introducing you to the connects so they can keep getting your beats for cheap, fukk that.

Now a protege is totally different.

Kanye probably be in Chicago too. You really couldn't have met up with the youngin. He probably would've made Keef's day doing that shyt. Sucka ass nikka.

Exactly.

Industry nikkas be on some "You got to put in work first. I put mine in. Look where I'm at. Now keep working" type shyt :troll: :lolbron: :troll:

What that basically means is, "I got taken advantage of when I was a dumb, naive, young artist and lost alot of money in the process. It's my turn now" :shaq:

I was referring more to the protege sort of thing like Dre and Storch and kinda like what Kanye doing with Hitboy right now. And that Kanye x Keef ordeal, yeah Kanye aint make him hot but he did give that nikka some exposure but I honestly think this is being taken wayy too far. I didnt see Kanye jumping on the song for a remix as neither tryna lend Keef a helping hand nor as some calculated plan to ride his wave/piggyback. I just thought he liked the song and remixed which is what has always been done in hiphop, I dont think what Kanye did is any different when a random mixtape rapper uses a song on their mixtape and what Wayne will do on D4 and what he's dont in the past. I think because of this Chi connection Ye and Keef have everybody is looking to make it more than it is and I believe Keef tweeted what he tweeted because he's probably being asked that a million times and something like that can get annoying and could be taken the wrong way.
