True, if you dont have situational awareness and live looking out for your life at every turn, you will die with a heater in your pocket. Theres more to protecting your life than owning a gun, you need to have developed certain skills to go along with it.
Its not a pleasant way to live, constantly looking over your shoulder, making sure your back is to a wall and watching the entrance, scanning every face, scrutinizing every waist silhouette., not lingering in the car or doorway for any reason. Its taxing. But that shyt does become second nature after awhile.
Its best to never be put in a situation where you have to do any of that but thats not always your call to make.
