Chicago Sports Fans - are there black cubs fans?

To be honest in the 90's it was more racists around us cellular or what used to be comisky park

Bridgeport was famously known for chasing black people out the area

From stories from my older relatives police used to drop them off on 35th halsted and they would have to run top speed from halsted to wentworth to get out of the neighborhood

Wrigley field of course got racist people but it was always a tourist attraction so at least I never heard of it getting crazy towards blacks there

one of my boys is from englewood and went to whitney young for high school. dude is like 40, so in the late 80's and early 90's he took the bus to and from school. he said that when he came home, he always had to take the right bus down damen, cuz if he got on the wrong one, it would stop in bridgeport. he said once he got on the wrong bus on damen and ended up in bridgeport and ended up getting chased up outta there. and mind you, this was like back in 1990 and what not.

I'm a cubs fan...as a child I found the sox boring the black and white colors made there broadcast seem dull

Plus I was 10 in 98 so I was really deciding when Sosa and wood where making there mark which was a lot more exciting then

There are black Cubs fans. The big problem is that Wrigley Field is just a giant shytty bar that smells like the zoo inhabited by hipsters, yuppies and the loathsome brodude crowd. Nobody goes there for baseball - only for booze.

stadium a true throwback to the early days

but the white sox winning before the cubs

some of the chicago media didnt even treat that shyt right tho made it seem somber that the cubs didnt win
