Most of you have no idea why congress for the most part doesn’t actually move to fix our immigration and asylum process.

It’s has nothing to do replacing specific races or voting and everything to do with capitalism but it would take having a fukking brain to even remotely begin that conversation

Peep what happened when fat Ron Desantis tried to crack down on immigration in Florida and specifically who ran to the newspapers and cried foul. Follow the money

This idiot wants us to believe we’re not smart enough to understand what’s going on or how congress operates. Republicans think the same things about voters :francis: Now he’s claiming some conspiracy that we don’t understand.:francis:

What this idiot is to dumb to realize is we get it. We just don’t care. :skip:

Who the fukk wants their police stations to look like a homeless shelter? Who wants their parks to look like homeless shelters? Who wants their schools used as shelters?

The city of Chicago could open up the McCormick place to house all of these migrants. They are choosing to put them into neighborhoods.

You take a place like Pilsen. Overwhelmingly Hispanic. They are pushing back against the migrant shelters. Are they racists to? Are they MAGA? Of course not. They are telling the city straight up.. We are fighting off gentrification and TIF districts so we can keep our community and you want to spend money on migrants? No give us property tax relief now. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Do they need to know how Congress operates to know property tax relief comes before housing someone who doesn’t even pay taxes?

Im annoyed by how much joy some of you cats seem to get out of this situation. Im not shocked a first-time mayor with migrants getting bussed in is scrambling for solutions. I am shocked that its a free pass for Texas to send migrants up here but they dont get any blame for this bullshyt. I live a stones throw from a police station and see them out there everyday. People trying to get into the USA is nothing new. Turning a border issue into a political circus and managing to get your political opponents blamed for it is news to me.

In case yall didnt know, transporting folks isnt free and the border states get funding that we dont. They are literally exporting their issue to us.

I don’t understand the confusion.

This is what people have been advocating for.

Now its a problem? Why?

Facts. Folks can show up to community meetings but those busses are still being sent. Only thing that can be done now is the wholly reject them and wait for the fed to ramp up deportations. People coming to the border will never stop as much as people think it can be quelled outright, but now Chicago is in a position where every stop has to be pulled to stop that a$$hole in Texas from doing this and our elected leaders from blowing up our resources on non-residents.

Breh, Eric Adams was sending migrants to Canada. Canada asked him to stop :mjlol:

El Paso democrat mayor put migrants on buses to Chicago to.:mjlol:

Colorado was doing it to.

It don’t matter if it’s Texas or New York. Nobody wants to be responsible for 30,000 people who can’t work or speak English.

Politicians need to be honest. We are NEVER going to deport millions of people. We talking about 15 million or more illegals. You can’t deport that many people without starting a humanitarian crisis. America would be condemned world wide.

The only answer is amnesty.. How do we get there should be the conversation now.

Bussing them through the country isn’t helping anyone. Letting them sleep in shelters, parks, police stations is taking away from actual residents of America.

If both sides agree this is a humanitarian crisis then shut down the AT&T arena and house them. Same with Chicago. House them at The United Center. Don’t fukk the daily lives of residents and city services.

They have put them in the burbs, they just been doing it on the low.

They've also sent them to one of the hotels in Matteson.

I 100% think this is what's going to happen next. Pritzker is going to make these black suburbs take more migrants in all throughout the South and West Suburbs

:francis:

@Let Me Repeat why didn't you neg this post?

Its critical of Democrat policies.

because its not Texas fault...
those southern states have been dealing with this for decades.

Democrats have essentially been calling anyone racist who doesnt want to take in all these people...
so the southern states are like "if you want to deal with it go right ahead"

its always someone else's fault...
never your favorite politicians

people coming from a failed socialist country and you claim the blame is capitalism

you dont understand markets well enough to have an opinion on it

this has happened all throughout history yet you still believe large government is the answer

first it goes socialism to "help the poor"...
that fails and then someone even more sinister takes over

this is El Salvador but I wouldnt be surprised to see more Central/South American countries doing the same thing...
causing gang members to leave their countries (kind of like Cuba in the 70s/80s)

I see our resident paste eater took time out from learning to tie his shoes to post today. At least you didn't bring up your personal obsession in transwomen randomly this time. :heh:
