This is not unique to Chicago. Seton Hall University is right next to Irvington. Yale is in New Haven. Lots of these private universities are in sketchy areas. Temple university too

Some are Black teens killing just to kill, some are latino drug and gang people involved with the cartel. Aa few are random white folks who are racist and want Black people to move out of the neighborhoods so they can continue to gentrify
