I lived on the southside my whole life up to like 16 then ma dukes for some bright reason moved us to an even worse neighborhood (think it was chicago or ford heights)

I will never go back to live in chicago. Id implore everyone to leave who got sense and let these crash dummies do what they do. fukk it

I stay in the burbs out chea, I've been enough riff raff growing up in the hood for the rest of the my life. I'm over it


I do remember when I stayed over north minneapolis for the summer with my dad when i was a kid... that shyt was basically little chicago. My sister almost got shot cuz some dumbass was trapping out of the house on the corner and ran out the bytch firing a auto. We was lil kids and the cops and news interviewed. I was like ten and even then I was like "this shyt just like home"



Its def some demonic nikkas here but I'm too old and to be in them circles any more.

Some of the people who are trying to destroy us are the ones committing these kinds of shootings.

Locals are doing things in small numbers.. It just don't get the same fan fare as a police shooting does.
And the locals can only do so much if everyone doesn't participate in block clubs.. These same people told us during the riots:

"we just live here, we don't own any of this shyt"..

So if you actually listen to the people who live in some of these communities, they're telling you I don't give a fck.. They're telling you they have no reason to be community oriented, because all they see the community as is a place to lay their heads at night.. So if the community can't convince these people to think of more than themselves, they're never going to be able to see a value in a community..

Think about it.. It transcends color.. What beef do you have, or what has you so pissed off that you don't give a fck about nobody else's life? To the point you'll shoot into a crowd of people to kill one mfer.. Thats selfish as fck.. Something their parents never instilled in them.

It's tough to get these dudes to look at the bigger picture..

Like well tell these dudes if you don't want nikkas to shoot up your party, stop posting your where abouts on social media.. Going live at the spot, while your mother is at the party, is a stupid move if you know nikkas beefing with you. They don't want to hear that shyt.. To them doing whatever they want, no matter what, is living the good life..

Some of these dudes and their families need serious counseling.. Its like they're kids in the head with grown up bodies, doing grown up shyt, not considering the consequences.. Legit child like behavior..

There's a new push to end a rash of senseless shootings targeting children and teens in Chicago, including a 15-year-old girl who was shot Monday while walking her dog.

That teen is still recovering from her gunshot wounds at Comer Children's Hospital. Her mother said she underwent surgery on her arm Tuesday and is now able to get out of bed, even while still in pain. One bullet has been left in her lower back for now. Her mother said she just wants to get home to her dog.

A 13-year-old boy riding his bike in McKinley Park and the 15-year-old girl walking her dog in Washington Park are only two of the most recent children to be killed or injured by gun violence in the city of Chicago.

"Adding more police to the city has not worked. We have to reimagine what safety is," 20th Ward Ald. Jeanette Taylor said.
