Video is less than 12 minutes but for those that are not able to watch, some of the main points:
* Lupe feels that he has been ostracized for calling out ALL acts of violence against black people (including black-on-black crime).
* He understands that people are upset about police brutality, but we should keep the same energy for black-on-black crime which is arguably worse.
* In reference to Rayshard Brooks people are worried about firing cops that were actually (relatively) respectful and calm when interacting with Rayshard until he became violent, but Lupe hasn't heard a word on the 104 people that were shot over the weekend.
* Hood dudes are being rewarded for their toxic behavior (influenced by music) and that is having a negative impact on our community in the form of extreme violence.
For reference - Lupe is discussing the violence that took place over Father's Day weekend. More than 104 people (mostly black) shot and so far 14 people were killed. You can read more about it here:
