Do you know how long lake michigan stretches for? There are plenty of spots in Hyde Park and South Shore for a lot less money that have a far less obstructed view than that.

I personally enjoy a full unobstructed view from Navy Pier to Gary from my condo

I know how far Lake Shore Drive stretches I can see the whole thing from here:

Directly across the street I can see into the windows of my neighbors. It's like living in The Sims. It's great.

Why the hell would I want to live in Hyde Park and Southshore? Who the hell wants to see Gary, IN?

I can see dudes hotel from my roof and he'd have to take a 60 to 90 minute trip to get to the Southside from here.

I have no sense of distance/time. But it feels like it takes that long as you're clutching your iPhone staring down the wolves that take that train that far. Shiiit, even the CTA voice gets hella aggressive giving those instructions after a certain point.

How are you saying Chicago isn't segregated when you put the entire Southside in a big bad box?

And people that actually grew up in Chicago that say the city is segregated aren't just repeating boogie man stories our grandparents told us. It's the result of racist practices that resulted in whites and blacks living separately.

How are you saying Chicago isn't segregated when you put the entire Southside in a big bad box?

While anyone can get it anywhere in this city you're far more likely to get it down there. Being black, your chances jump like 300%. I've witnessed two shootings here and both of them were down on the Southside while working with Chicago Cares.

I don't want to live anywhere near that nonsense. Luckily, there's no rule that says I have to. If you want to, that's not my problem.
