No, you keep running the false narrative that employment starts with min wage jobs then you eventually move up to more lucrative jobs but in reality that's not how it works because min wage jobs aren't offering the training or skillets for well paying jobs. That's why education is important.
And people don't magically become educated. They do so by taking education seriously. Similarly with developing desirable skills.
As someone who grew up poor in north Charlotte. I'm more than aware of the dynamics at play.
And honestly, I don't spend much time thinking about illegal immigrants because I'm not in competition with them in this race to the bottom that you're encouraging or are obsessed with.
But if you'd like to know what I spend time with I'll give you a hint:
I'm currently working with 3 men who have been working low paying IT jobs who need advice on how to move their career forward because the people over them are offering them the training and hands on experience needed to move up. Largely because they want to keep them where they are.
I've also been a part of big brothers big sisters and have coached through PAL.
I spend a lot of my time actually helping folks. Black folks. Because I grew up poor I can relate and I've had the chance to navigate to a better life.
You spend your time being a sex tourists in Mexico and spouting republican garbage.
