This injury happening against a middle of the road team and a garbage player on a Sunday night (most meaningless night in the NBA) makes it sting a little worse. I can see them waiting until at least March before bringing him back.

Hopefully he has a speedy recovery, he was balling this season

though this wasn't a dirty play, GS is always involved in some kind of injury to a key piece of a team. Kawhi in 2017 playoffs, Embiid knee injury last year, and Chet this season. goddamn. I hate to see any player get injured. We just lost Sochan with a thumb fracture
What a weird thing to say.

Given the rampant rate of injuries in today's game, you can find similar correlation with a lot of teams. The fact you went back all the way to 2017 when it's nearly 2025 is hilarious.

:dahell: so far, GS seems like they're a problem in the West, but it's early yet. Beating Boston and OKC though? :whoa:

Not that I saw it happening but once Hartenstein got hurt I was hoping Chet and this energized DPotY mindset could make it through til December.

It’s just increased risk having your sole paint defender be a scrawny/lanky 2nd year player who can be moved easily. I had the same concerns with Wemby and is why all I said last year was F stats/records/etc, the Frenchman just has to make it thru the season healthy.

That’s also the value of having a hartenstein, mitch robinson, brook lopez type. have them absorb the blunt force of mf’ers testing them at the rim nightly

They lost by 40 against the Cavs. They beat the Celtics without Jaylen Brown, and blew a 30 point lead against OKC after they were shell shocked seeing Chet go down. Steph can only do so much.

I see @Gil Scott-Heroin is still begging for attention :bryan: A poster who ran and hid from this board for over a year because his team was trash will NEVER get a debate response from me

I do agree, although I think Wemby is just a special case as far as protecting the rim. He also doesn’t go to the ground as much

I-Hart playing the 5 and Chet at the 4 would’ve been ideal for big stretches in the game. I never saw Chet as a true 5 because of what you’re saying, you need a bruiser in these games especially in the playoffs.

I get the concern, but Chet was their sole paint defender last season too, and he played all 82 games. He was 4th in contested shots as well, so it wasn't like he was avoiding that type of contact last season either.

It was more a freak accident than anything else.

No matter how many times you repeat this lie will make it true.

And you're not fooling anyone by using this lie to deflect from the real fact you don't want to be answerable to all the shyt you're wrong about, namely Jokic, which you conveniently leave out when he won the championship marked the exact point I stopped posting. It's the reason why you don't show up to address all the bullshyt you post when it gets quoted.

Now stop trying to derail the thread with your silly ass agendas.
