Looks like Chester Bennington.
Oh my God.... :merchant:

I literally just mentioned him this Monday in the Raw thread and was revisiting Hybrid Theory & Reanimation this whole month.

Linkin Park was a HUGE staple of my day-one crew's friendship. We became friends because we had the same tastes in music. Used to mess around and do covers of their songs when we had our band in high school. All the silly car trip sing-alongs.... :francis:

Damn, man. RIP. :rip:

RIP. Hybrid Theory and Meteora were two non hip hop albums that got me through a lot of tough times in the early 00's. From his lyrics on those albums you could tell he was battling demons. He will be missed.

Sad to see a man so messed up that he felt he had to leave behind a wife and six kids. On Chris Cornell's birthday, too. :merchant:Chester wrote an open letter to Cornell on the day he died.

One of the best singers of his era. The first LP album is a classic of its time and genre. Couldn't get into them after that, but the EP Chester did a few years back with Stone Temple Pilots is excellent.

I ain't gonna lie...Linkin Park was one of the i aspirations for me and my friend's band in high school as well. We had two lead singers just like them and I was one of them. I mean I listened to them, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Korn, Zebrahead, Primer 55, Hed P.E., Snot, Deftones, Metallica, and Megadeath with a Lil Suicidal Tendencies and Rage Against The Machine in there. And we all fukked with WWF/WWE and ECW heavy back then too. And Wu Tang, Cash Money, No Limit, and Ruff Ryders.

Too many good times.
:mjcry:
This one hits home.

Sorry, but leaving 6 kids with no father, because of the death of a man you weren't even related to is just plain selfish.

RIP to both of those men, Cornell is legendary, but I can't sympathise with folk for this one.

I traded my battle of Los Angeles for hybrid theory in high school. Was a fan until Minutes to Midnight came out. He's a good guy and I wish his family and friends the best but if I want to listen to U2 i'll listen to U2.
