Nothing. The rules are in order to resign you have to play a move. So the other guy went first. Then magnus made his move. Then ther other guy made his move then Magnus resigned on his next turn.
Btw Magnus was upset in a tournament by this guy a month prior. Which started the speculation of Hans cheating.
To give some numbers as to how big of an upset it was. Going into the game Magnus was rated like 2846 and if he won he’d be ranked 2900. Hans was rated 2646 or so and if he won (which he did) he would hit 2700. Magnus was on a 53 game win streak in classical chess. Magnus hadn’t lost to a below 2700 player playing black pieces in 7 years. And the guy that beat him back then in those circumstances is Anish Giri who now is a top 10 player himself.

i'm upset i didn't think about this first, i've made robots to control my gf's lush to do orgasm denial based on her biometrics/howwellpoorly she's playing a certain video game. i play chess a lot and using this library with a chess engine to cheat is probably way less effort/cleverness than that lmao.

Honestly I really don’t know. Magnus can be a bit bratty. But he’s lost to ppl he shouldn’t have in the past and has never reacted like this.
With that said. One of the renowned experts who’s developed his own system to try and see if someone is cheating analyzed the last two years of Han’s play and he concludes he isn’t cheating.
