Honestly I never got the hype behind "nice arenas", I don't think I've strolled into a new arena and been blown away
Maybe the best place I've ever watched a game is damn near 100 yrs old , the Palestra
To me it's all about sight lines and feeling close to the action no matter where you are. Older stadiums have that alot of times cause they were smaller
I like Citizens Bank Park cause you can see the field from damn near anywhere while walking inside the corridors

it's more about the suites than anything. The seats closest to the court or field as well. Nosebleeds are generally nosebleeds no matter where you go. If I can go to a suite with seats made out of leather and a wide array of cheeses and sushi and wings and I can kick back with one pinky in the air, that's more than important than you losers wearing Erick Dampier Warriors jerseys all the way up top.

i agree, shyt looks generic as fukk. Staples is 20 yrs old and is better than that trash place.
Staples is sexy and sits in a great location downtown but its cavernous asf and the acoustics are bad. The three levels of luxury suites separates the main lower bowl from the nose bleeds. The building would be way louder if the upper deck wasn't so high up.

nah you buggin Barclays is super dope. All kinda new money getting pumped into that place it dont even look like when it 1st opened

My comparison wasn't a diss. I'm sure both arenas are incredible experiences in person, but on tv they both got that dark somber look. If I had to pick one that looks better it's Barclays. The only thing I don't like about Barclays is it doesn't sound loud on tv, acoustics are fukked up.

You’re right about that
