There no real or fake racist, racism come from different shades, some racist are more radical than other, but a racist is a racist. During slavery, many slaves owner consider their slaves as part of the family, they treated them like their child or siblings, but still they wouldn't agree for the end of slavery. Native kids taken from parents and placed in residential schools where they learned to be catholic, speak English and Canadian or white values. They abandon their own language and culture in doing so. They can probably still adopt black kids but I can see adoption of indigenous kids being banned.
