Charlie Kaufman goes stop motion with his new film.

Co directed it with the guy who did Abeds Christmas stop motion episodes on community. Dan Harmon and Starburns are producers.

Huge Charlie Kaufman fan, even did not mind synecdoche new york(tho wish he found some one other then himself to direct it)

Critics love it, has 100 rating on rotten tomatoes with 33 reviews. I am intrigue to say the least.

Massive Charlie Kaufman fan. The one true original mind in Hollywood.

He's always had a true insight on the human condition and has expressed it succinctly through his screenplays.

The stop motion is... ehhh to me. But I'll still undoubtedly watch for the writing.

Regards to the bolded, ya, pretty much. Tho, my self, their is something about stop motion that I truly enjoy. Maybe it is b/c of the old christmas specials like rudolph the red nosed reindeer etc. Something about stop motion I just like. I loved Wes Andersons Fantastic Mr. Fox. And I am very interested in a Kaufman screenplay to stop motion. But ya, who knows.

Just for reference, the co directer duke Johnson did this episode of Community.

Yeah, I respect Mr. Fox and the old school Rudolph stuff. I mean... I grew up on Gumby and shyt.

I just prefer live acting for a Kaufman script is all.

Saw this at TIFF, it was great. The art threw me off at first but the writing and attention to detail is spot on. Also has a lot of nudity lol

Dang. I'm going to watch it. What do you mean "the attention to detail"? Just curious.

The animations, the nuances and twitches of the characters. It's really well done
I believe you. Still isn't human emotion. But I'm glad you're giving it a go ahead. I'm in no doubt. I'm nervous though. He only gives us so many movies.
