why did they take there titles?
the robbery has nothing to do with there accomplishment

They had an ineligible player playing for them. The school district said he passed, but the UIL and the state thought they were fixing grades, so they stripped them of the title. It was a long process that why it didn't happen until three years later.

Edit: I just watched the trailer, it explained the whole thing :dead:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I have never heard of an SuperBowl championship being taken away because of bad off field behavior. The Cowboys, for one, wouldn't have any SB titles left.
shyt the nfl didn't take away superbowls for on the field cheating... this shyt never happens

they do it in college and high school tho... for some bullshyt reason

like joe paterno... so his ex-assistant raped kids and that somehow equals in the removal of wins :mindblown:

I wish this was a big production film like the Friday Night Lights film. The Fight Night Lights film did misrepresent them in that film.

Back in 1980's that area of Oak Cliff was mostly lower middle class and working class black people. Kinda like what Desoto and Cedar Hill has become. Those players wasn't no thugs nikkas from the projects. Most of them came from working class 2 parents house holds. I know people will bring up the robberies but, if you read up on the actually robberies you would see these dudes wasn't no thugs nikkas from the hood. They was doing setup robberies where everybody from the store managers and employees was all involved. For example, one of their robberies had do to with a Jack in the Box manager(one of their friend) having them to do a fake robbery and they would split the money with the manager.
