The NFL product right now is garbage just as much as the NBA but you will never hear an NFL show tell you that the product is bad or to not watch the NFL. You guys are dumb as fukk.

Everyone said last year how bad the Thursday night games were. Terrible matchups with terrible results. Herbstreit and Michaels couldn’t even fake it while they were calling the games. I think you need to get the word “responsibility” out your mouths. No one said Barkley & them are responsible for the league being viewed negatively. The issue is that having HOFamers tell your fans that an entire league is bad only furthers the negative culture around your brand.

That is different than analysts saying “a” game is bad. Calling your league bad only cements the negativity fans have. The entire culture around the NBA has been trash for years. The NFL product sucks ass, had more scandals tied it yet those who promote will forever act like its the best thing since sliced bread

Bad qb play
Bad early season play due to no preseason
Bad o-line play because they are coached to block in spread offenses in college
Bad and DUMB ASS coaches with jobs. NO LEAGUE has more dumb ass coaches than the NFL.

The NFL product is ASS now. I dont talk about NFL games as much anymore because I have lost interest.

Fact is every good business listens to customers and wants negative feedback as well as positive feedback.
Fans are telling you what they don't like and they are tuning out from the product.
The NBA is putting their head in the ground and ignoring feedback and trying to argue with the customer, its the stupid shyt that has most entertainment companies losing massive amounts of money.

They need to adjust the rules, my suggestion is this, don't move the 3pt line, just add this 1 rule adjustment.
1) Missed 3pt shots, mean the team loses 2pts.

This would fix the game instantly and make teams only take 3s if the shooter is capable or if the situation dictates it, pulls the game back to being balanced and better all around.

NBA media creates a toxic culture. Culture is defined as customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group. NBA media has a negative and shytty culture which infects its fans.

Very confusing to me how people aren't understanding how the media they consume influences the beliefs they adopt. As if we haven't seen tens of millions of people be brainwashed by Fox News into believing the most ridiculous and outlandish narratives on the planet. I don't know if they just lack critical thinking skills or are just being obtuse. You see a lot of both on this site unfortunately....

I've seen it, maybe not to the extent of chuck and them but they have been critical of the league for not adjusting enough to attract the new generation.

Chuck craps on the league all the time. He said that he doesn't watch the games really. Shaq has been on his podcast with Lefkoe and trashed big men like he always does and trashed the style of play in the league (more 3pt shooting, lack of post play, etc)

Skip bayless is a certified hater. He's shytted on Dame, Bron, Westbrook, Curry, Durant, you name it. All the big name players. And he's not critiquing either. He's purposefully trying to be offensive.

Stephen A smith and Kendrick perkins do the same thing. It's hot take after hot take. NBA media has been geared toward hating for YEEEEARS now. It waters the product down. This is an objective fact

EDIT: The ABC half-time show is reliably bad year after year. They talk for 2 mins and load the segment with commercials, then they comeback and hype up one single play from the game and then go back to commercials for 5 minutes until halftime is over
