TYRONE GA!
Niqqa....I get you hate Bron but to act like shyt ain't just as blatant using "behind the scenes" as a rational reason is crazy work.
1) No, I hate Bron's shenanigans. It's well known. And I stand on that. Incredible player, GOAT level, but does goofy shyt and hides his hands. Don't like it, never will.

2) No one is rationalizing the behind the scenes nepotism that goes on in the workplace. We all know what it is. I'm surrounded at work by 8/9 nepotism situations as I type this. But it ain't this.

3). It's all goofy, but when it's so blatant and ridiculous, to just say "oh well, cacs do it too" is not an excuse. As sorry as Giannis brother is, or JR Smith's brother was getting NBA gigs, them nikkaz were not this ass. Stevie Wonder can see Bronny has no reason to be out there. He didn't even deserve to be a Micky D's burger boy either.

i'm not capin' for this ridiculousness. This is not on the same level as the Griffeys. Not even close. Mike wouldn't have even pulled a stunt like this. Use another team as your playground for this bullshyt. But it ain't his fault, Jeannie and the gang allows it. :martin:

Dude should be in college right now. Live that Marcus/Jeff life.

There's several things at play here as to why some cats are so heated.

You have cacs who are mad that a black man pulled a power move. That will always piss them off.

Then you got the bron haters who are in their feelings over anything he does.

You can point out that its nepotism (which it obviously is) and not be so mad about it. There's literally nothing to be mad about.

Like so many have pointed out, nepotism exists in all forms of life as well as sports. You guys really think other cats don't get in and stay the league because of connections and others get black balled out of the league because of who they pissed off? Lets not even get into how front office jobs reek of nepotism.

I ain't gonna ever be that deep in my feelings over Bron or any black man exercising that kind of power move. Cacs have done it for generations.

Especially as a black father, I'll open whatever doors I can for my son wherever I can. Fuk whatever any of you whiny cats gotta say bout it. If you were smart and had that kinda leverage you'd do the same for your kids. It is what it is.
I love how short sighted this is.

You say this and think it’s proud as a black man moment, but then ignore that Bronny took a job from a more deserving black man.

Too many of you align yourselves with the black elite when you are not and will never be in that class.

Shouldn't have been a McDonald's All American either. Damn shame the Hamburglar out here taking Klutch bribes, but not shocked.
The problem with this take is you're leaving out the fact by all scouts account he held his own in McD's practice. And during the game he was one of the better players. Leaving that info out actually does a disservice to what he do while there.

So doesn't matter if it was deserved since he took the chance and ran with it. Same with Nike Hoops Summit. They each had him closing games on the floor. There's a reason he was getting bumped up in recruiting rankings/mock drafts because he performed.

Summer League/Preseason/NBA he clearly hasn't done the same and that's the real issue. Because he was given an opportunity and showed more times than not that he isn't ready.

You're projecting. Whatever you think you are or never will be is on you.

I'll keep saying it. Be the man who can make power moves for your child or be the man who cries about the people that can. :yeshrug: We see which path you're choosing.
