the problem with all this is that you can't publicly defame or slander a person directly calling him a pedo or a racist when he has not legal record of being one.

In Charla's case you can absolutely say alleged because he pled no contest to the lower charge and the victim never retracted her accusation on the top charge - so it is still alleged by the victim. If you frame it properly you can say alleged and not worry about a lawsuit,
