My skin was better as a kid too as was yours. People's skin changes as they grow and less elastic with more spots. That's called maturation and aging. There's nothing wrong with Charlamagne skin, just like there's nothing wrong with the legions of black men whom have the same skin and never bleach.

He could've fixed his skin discoloration/hyper pigmentation through dietary discipline. But like most people they'd rather the easy way out. Along with the fact that most recommended dermatologist products are unhealthy chemically. Remember that dermatology is still apart of the medicine industry. But that's another subject.
