This is a old scenario. Prominent rape allegations are career cancer they dissolve all involved from the inside out. Having work and being taken serious is to different things. Wait for that second allegation it's warming up.

Why didn't the court in SC reopen the case to determine who in fact raped/assaulted the then 15 year old?

They absolved Char from further prosecution, but that doesn't resolve the case.
