Well that was a dog fight for sure. It was on the road coming off our first loss. I think Offensively this was probably our worst game of the season. 17 Points is our lowest scoring game all year. The Colts aren't a terrible team, they're actually pretty decent. I think yes Jalen came through in the clutch there but I have to give the game ball to the Defense. They were getting hammered especially Gannon all week. They came out and kept the Colts in check after that first drive. Colts only scored 16 points. Suh and Joseph both come out strong even with not playing this season. Goedert is already missed. I honestly think we shouldn't of cut Richard Rodgers looking back. Hopefully the other TE's can step up but they aren't Goedart for sure. Our Running game wasn't too hot outside of Jalen. Also the passing game didn't really go gangbusters so give The Colts Defense credit. AJ had a fumble so our WR's are turning the ball over too much the last two games. Overall it's a good win, 9-1 is the best record in the NFL.
The Washington Loss was just an NFC BEAST type of game that the Eagles still had a chance to win. Crazy they would be 10-0 right now on the way to clinching. But now that probably won't happen until December. I think Jeff Saturday is doing pretty good considering he was just on Television commentating and all the heat he's taking for being inexperienced. So the Birds didn't have another letdown and had the Biggest Eagles Comeback since Djax and the Miracle at the Meadowlands 2 over 12 years ago (Though this game wasn't nearly as exciting as that one). Sirianni obviously wanted Revenge for Frank because this was the game they would be playing against each other. Ironically Eagles Legend himself Nick Foles is the backup for the Colts. So this game continued our Super Bowl LII Reunion Tour. As for the NFC BEAST. The Boys dismantled the Vikings. I'll give them props for that but we already beat them earlier in the year. So that actually helps out #1 Seed Standing. The Gmen got taken to school by the Lions. If the Lions Defense was better they would have won even more games this year. Washington handled Houston easily.
I think the Birds are still in good position to win the Division ahead 2 games. The Boys and Gmen face off on Thanksgiving meaning someone is leaving that game with 4 losses. They are batling for the top Wild Card spot. Commanders are still in 4th place and way behind. They got the Falcons next and are in the Wild Card chase. After that letdown game, I'm glad the Birds are back on track. Now they have Aaron Rodgers and Greenbay coming into town. As I said previously, this was the game I felt was one of the hardest on our Schedule because of Aaron. He can still hurt you if his WR's were playing better. But the Packers haven't been playing too hot this year. This is the most average Aaron has looked in a long time. I like their chances with Greenbay having to come to Philly. Next week is our Last Primetime Game of the Season. The Eagles will introduce their Black helmets so it's all Black Everything next week. Speaking of comebacks, I can watch Djax TD forever man.
