That sounds about right for him honestly. Other than Mitchel and tantrum know of these other young dudes deserve the full max.
He didn’t voluntary leave money on the table. If a player has less than 7 years experience then they can only get a max for 25% of the cap. They can only get the 30% max if they meet certain criteria: Win MVP, DPOY, or make All-NBA either the season before the contract kicks in or the 2 seasons before that. Otherwise known as the Derrick Rose Rule.
If Mitchell & Tatum don’t win MVP, DPOY or make All-NBA this season they won’t get the $195 mil either.

But even then, that's not exactly a win for Charlotte either since it likely means they couldn't find a 3rd team to take Batum so therefore the Hornets are basically gonna be paying $39 million for Hayward for the next 3 years
