Hawks have cheap ownership all the time, which is why they never win a championship

I think they are going to make a move for an established type of guy using dudes like Collins and hunter I could be wrong and I'm not sure who is even out there. But I can't think of anyone for them to combine their talent in order to go get. I think they may just end up going into the season and seeing how it goes with the depth they have kind of like Denver.

Hawks been cheap since Dominique Wilkins days, they have to do something or they will always be a mediocre product.

Presti is basically doing a smarter version of the process on steroids

compile picks and take as many swings as possible, find your superstars in the draft and build around them... it’s a long term play but he’s set up to pull it off

Horford gonna start and they’ll set him up to get his numbers up... Shai will have the ball even more and will probably be a borderline all star

then they’ll trade both next season
What would be the reasoning to trade SGA when he aligns with the method the team is trying to build long-term?
I don't see any team trying to trade for a 35 year old Horford and his contract when it just took attaching a first to even get rid of him

Crazy seeing him act like this after watching the story of his upbringing. Most people that grew up that poor aren't that ungrateful for their blessings. He should be more loyal to the team that cashed him out.
:scust:

Always some :mjpls: people like yourself acting like black athletes didn’t work hard or earn their money.

He didn’t get to the NBA by luck or a handout, and he earned his contract by putting up numbers for an inept franchise. He’s free to feel and post as he pleases. The coach and management clearly don’t want him there just as much as he doesn’t want to be there.

Right it’s like they don’t give a fukk about Reddish, Huerter, and Hunter then Okongwu is behind Capela :patrice:

Also it seems like they clearly don’t want to pay Collins
Truth be told, the only one worth keeping is Huerter. Reddish and Hunter were drafted too high, so you basically have to give them minutes they don’t need. Neither one is better than Bogdonavich now, and they won’t be better than him in the future.

edit: just read the comparison to the Nuggets in previous posts. I don’t think Reddish and Hunter are on the caliber of talent the Nuggets had/have

Folks swear Reddish is the next Paul George :whoa:

But to be fair he has shown flashes so I wouldn't trade him right now.

I’m not willing to make the statement that neither hunter or reddish will or can be better than bogdonovic. I’m expecting them both to develop eventually.

Yeah I know a lot of people got hyped on how he started playing in a few games towards the end of the season but I just can’t buy it yet :unimpressed:

If I had to keep one it would be Reddish over Hunter though

I think Bogdanovic is a solid player but the Hawks have a younger cheaper version of him in Huerter.

the only difference is the Sixers made sure they’d be the worst team in the league by basically trading anyone who was halfway competent and starting guys who shouldn’t be in the league

Shai is much better then anyone the Sixers had those first few process years

To be fair Ingram was looking trash early in his career until he turned the corner the later part of the season two years ago. I don’t see why Reddish couldn’t do the same thing
