If they had the best record in the West next season, it wouldn't shock me
It would definitely shock me. I don't see Covington, Kanter and Giles taking an 8th seed to second. They're not that much of an upgrade over Ariza, Whiteside and Hezonja...we'll see tho.

if they don't face the bad injury luck, their young guys improve (Collins, Trent, Simons), and their coach uses their depth to beat teams (they're literally 10 deep), I can see them surpassing expectations.

They have size in the frontcourt (Nurkic, Collins, Kanter), shooting (Dame, McCollum, Hood & Trent) & depth (RoCo, Little, Simons, Melo)

That harden trade must be in the world cause it makes no sense for Marks to be this quiet with all those backcourt pieces

Not really, they generally tend to be a very good regular season team. Nurkic is their 2nd best player, not C.J. Nur had a damn 11 WAR the year before. It's no suprise without Nurk, they look like treadmill, no playoffs team and with Nurk, they were hell for the Lakers till Lillard starting getting nicks.

I still strongly feel my Hawks had the best offseason even without Bogi, but without question, I can see the Blazers being in the convo.
