Praying it’s not a torn Achilles. On a sidenote, were NBA Achilles injuries this common 20-30 years ago? In a recent interview (starting at 3:44), Jordan’s trainer Tim Grover complained about NBA players getting injured more frequently because they’ve been shifting away from hardcore weight training. Could that have something to do with these Achilles tears?

Memphis Zoo is thrilled to announce a new addition to its reticulated giraffe herd and his name is a nod to one of Memphis’ beloved athletes.

Parents Niklas and Angela Kate welcomed a baby boy on November 10th. To celebrate Ja Morant winning NBA Rookie of the year, Memphis Zoo will name the calf Ja Raffe.
