scUM is not the top of the Big Ten. They haven't been at the top since 2006. How are they a representative of what's bad about the Big Ten? They were way over ranked to start the season and everyone knew this. They got beat as bad as most people thought they would. scUM is not better than Ohio St., Wisconsin, Michigan St., and probably Nebraska. They are probably the 4th or 5th best team in the Big Ten. Let's just forget winning the national championship game against Miami, beating a Kansas St. (Fiesta Bowl) team a year later (that had Ell Roberson, Darren Sproles, and co.) that everybody was hyped about after they beat number 1 Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game, beating Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl, beating Texas when they were number 2 in the country AT Texas in 2006, beating Oregon in the Rose Bowl, beating Miami again in 2010, and beating Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl. Every single one of those games had a lot of hype going in, and OSU won all of them. Name ONE win from scUM in the past 10 years that can equal any of those wins from Ohio State! I'll wait...*waits for the "bu bu but V Tech was a powerhouse last year" response*
Just because scUM has sucked for the better part of a decade, you think y'all are free from the big game talk. Y'all can't be apart of a big game like the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME because y'all have sucked. OSU was good enough to make it 3 times in the past decade. scUM came close once.......and lost to THE Ohio State University Buckeyes! So don't come at me trying to talk shyt about what OSU didn't do in the other games when scUM barely had a decent season in those years except 2006. Damn you can't comprehend. They were big bowl wins. Arkansas was a game against a legitimate number 8 team in the country at the end of the season. Maybe you are too young to remember but Kansas St. was beating teams by 30 per game at that time, and throttled what many thought was an all time great Oklahoma team in the Big 12 championship game. Notre Dame was in the top 10 at the end of the regular season when we beat them, they are a .500 or even worse when scUM has beat them te past fee years. Which one is better? Every game I mentioned except for Miami in 2010 was against a top 10 team. When was the last time scUM beat a top ten team? 2003? Exactly!!! How can you down play OSU victories when scUM hasn't had a good one since 2003?
