Awwww friends, this is probably the first actual quality rap release of the year here friends. It really showcases an individuals dualities and struggles to stay on the right path while giving hope, and most importantly, gives praise, to the Lord, our father who art in heaven. Chance may keep questionable company but with this release, friends? you cant say he put out demonic filth. He cares about the babies yall. Good for him, friends. :blessed:

I gave this album an honest open minded listen. This nikka is trash :camby:

I can't get into his music at all.

Friend have you really sat back and studied the message youre putting into the minds of foreign individuals? You for the most part promote demonic filth so obviously, an angelic release would fall on deaf ears. Its difficult to get back in tune with those feelings when youve squandered them on demonic trash, but keep trying and maybe you can find your way back home. Its so angelic, friend. :blessed:

Really tried to get into the project and give it numerous chances but there's just not enough here. All these critics and hipsters and dikkriders overrating the fukk out of it doesn't really help either :francis: I appreciate positive vibes and uplifting music as much as the next person but the lack of actual rapping and hit or miss production choices brings this down for me

I do like All We Got (at least until that wildly un-arranged chorus comes in), No Problem, Summer Friends, Blessings 1 and 2, Mixtape, Juke Jam, How Great, Finish Line / Drown. But again I like them, I don't really love them besides like 1 or 2 :francis:

gave this album a couple of spins and i really like it :obama:acid rap was ok to me so this is a huge step up. i always respect musicians that grow and focus on the quality of their work instead of label politics and who's the hottest.

i don't write songs for free, i write songs for freedom:ahh:

is there a LOUDER version of this mixtape?

The sound quality is not very good. It's not even that hard nowadays to slightly master songs.

The songs deserve better.
i noticed that as well thou he might be going for that lo fi sound

Just listened to it. I liked it. My favorite tracks where Blessings, Angles and How Great (Jay Elect bodied that track). I'd give a B- overall.

I caught the Chano wave a couple months after Acid Rap dropped, had to make sure I had the time and right mood to really give this a listen. I see a bunch of mixed reviews which either means it's really good or really bad but since the most recent track I heard was Ultralightbeam and he snapped I think I'm in for a decent evening. We shall see :sas1:

Thank you for proving my point.

Failed industry plant.

:heh:

How can you possibly have "made it" when you've yet to even produce an album when you've been around since 09, despite the manufactured co-signs.

Usually industry plants are there to accomplish something...or have some sort of goal or reverberation. Kinda like Ross glorifying trappin but was a CO.

If Chance is a plant failed or not, what was his goal? :jbhmm:
How is one a part of the "industry" if they actively shun it? :ohhh:
And even if he was, is hearing about someone wanting to get off drugs and raise their kids REALLY that bad of a message? :dahell:

Rap fans talk all fukking day about not having a balance when it comes to the positive shyt vs the more base level shyt and here is a guy that did it and he's getting dogged. Ya'll don't make sense.

Also, If the sole reason he's an industry plant is because he toured with Gambino and white people like him. Then this is beyond retarded.

White people like Kanye, Rihanna, Hov, Bey, Sean, Spitta, Drake, Wu-Tang etc...

Are all of these artists planted by the industry? :merchant:

GTFO :camby:
