O'Neill was my favorite, game 5 sendoff is my favorite Yankee moment ever. Getting your name chanted in Yankee Stadium, when your team is losing in the top 9 of a World Series game



If I wasn't going out of the Country, I'd buy ticket to the Aug 9 Ceremony for O'Neill.

They're getting plaques to get fans to show up to the Stadium. On the surface, Tino getting a plaque is a joke....but the almighty dollar rules. Suddenly a Saturday or Sunday game against the Twins or whomever looks a hell of a lot more appealing if Tino's there tipping his little cap.

You Could say O'Neill and Torre are money grabs but those 2 were long over due and more than deserving.

I don't think an Yankee has worn 21, since Latroy Hawkins got all that heat for Honoring Clemente

Torre for sure deserves it. I love Oneill but he's borderline too...but he's definitely the most popular of the bunch listed here.
