that's another 85-win season.
The rotation was far from the problem.

When the offense scores 3.9 runs per game, it leaves no margin for error.

Just get Refsnyder up and make the infield younger

and an idea that may work:

Move A-Rod to 1B and platoon him and Tex so you only gotta see one of them per game

mccarthy looks like 3/33 disaster waiting to happen. greene was an average minor league pitcher. he wasn't even a late bloomer. I'm not penciling him as an automatic. if he pitches well next year, that'd be great. I won't even bring up pineda.

i think the best bet is to trade for hamels or sign lester. if he wants anything over 5, let him go elsewhere.
