The Infamous

Edit: Double post
Babalu just got his BBJ black belt in 2010, Shogun has been a black belt since Pride days. Shogun is "ranked higher" than Babalu, but has a much lesser grappling record and history than Babalu. Forrest is still a Brown Belt and was a brown belt when he subbed a Black Belt Shogun. Granted, MMA is different than grappling, but Shogun's grappling history in MMA speaks that he hasn't implemented his grappling effectively compared to his peers.
Shogun has good sweeps but has never tapped anyone with a leg lock in MMA and IMO has a less active guard then what I've seen from Wandy.
And you are incorrect on Matt Hughes, he possesses a Black Belt, JJ does not (I believe he's a blue now). And Sonnen is one of MMA's greatest wrestlers, he has an Olympic background in wrestling. And I'm familiar with his implementation of wrestling to grappling, I've done BJJ for 3 years but prior to that, I had 6 years of high school and college wrestling, so I know how much wrestling can help your top game.
lost a very cloe decision to franklin, beat up bisping and almost knocked him out, ko'd by leben but aother competitive fight with franklin plus 2 knockouts over stann and ledoes silva have anything left?
Getting subbed by 3 fighters is not a 'history of getting subbed..'.
Lower ranked in terms of belt rank? Who cares, that's not the be all and end all of BJJ skill in MMA. Babalu has better BJJ than Shogun, stop strictly looking at belt rank [and when you received your black belt].
Shogun tapped Randleman with a kneebar, which is a leg lock. He's also threatened with leg locks in a few of his fights.
I'm always 100% positive that Matt Hughes does not have a black belt. Research it breh, everywhere I look, it says he isn't ranked in BJJ.
Jones is a white belt: http://www.mmajunkie.com/news/2013/...us-to-show-growth-not-thinking-about-teixeira
At bolded, then why are you saying it would be 'shocking' and 'vulgur' if Chael submitted Wand? I'm not saying he will, but he has the skills to do so.

hes pretty decent still

Interesting, but Anderson and Wandy are boys so I doubt it.
Getting subbed by lesser ranked guys I think would count for a "history of getting subbed", but that's all subjective anyway.
I'm not saying I disagree with your assessment of BJJ skills, but if belt rank doesn't matter, than what does? Shogun is more skilled and PREFERS striking to BJJ, hence he has more wins by KO/TKO. Fighting IQ plays a bigger part than record IMO.
I got the Matt Hughes BJJ rank from Joe Rogan and guys I know have rolled with him. That said, Miletech Fighting Systems has its own ranking system in which Hughes could be a black belt on, so I could be mistaken here. I'll concede his rank. However, I do think he would be highly ranked in BJJ considering his underrated skills and his track record.
And YES it would be Vulgar and Shocking to see Chael submit arguably the most iconic Brazilian fighter using a Brazilian martial art form. I have Brazilian friends that scoff at the idea of this even happening, its hilarious
No offense breh but you do know the difference between someone who trains Gi/NoGi bjj?
Rank still doesnt matter though tbh breh. I've seen newly promoted brown belts go to a tournament and whip up on two stripe browns that have been at brown for awhile. It really relies on style/skill.Of course, but EVERY Brazilian trains in a Gi
Definitely. He'd wreck Sonnen's whole shyt if Chael tried to stand and bang, and has more than a good chance of submitting him on the ground.(Yeah, I know Silva's jits is mostly defensive, but his ground game is heavily underrated while Sonnen's sub defense is )does silva have anything left?
I don't understand how this is going to work out. Chael's coaching Brazilians...in Brazil???? Will their eventual fight take place in Brazil? They knew better than to have the Spider rematch in Brazil but he's gonna fight an even more beloved Brazilian in Brazil.
A Brazil vs. USA season would make a lot more sense.
Sonnen has one of his toughest fights ever in a couple weeks and he's already thinking about Wanderlei....but he was thinking about Wanderlei while preparing for Shogun, too......and I think he beats Rashad, tbh....Sonnen's gonna be top 5 in 2 weight classes.
