And he wanted everything to be under the Wakandan flag while ignoring and dismissing their culture and ritual.

I like to use Nigeria as an example because it's a country with tremendous natural resources, a capable population with a long history of more or less effective self-rule, access to the ocean, and proximity to major world markets. Additionally, the British colonial influence in Nigeria wasn't anywhere near as brutal as the Belgians in Congo, or the Portuguese in Mozambique and Angola - if any African country should be succeeding, it's Nigeria. But it isn't.
