But when the brand comes at the expense of your dignity it's not worth it. Chad is known more for his touchdown celebrations, dancing with the stars and dating shows(vh1) and now headbutting your attention whore ex wife you lost breh. You are still a football player first and he lost sight of that.
Where has his brand gotten him? Will that brand make him income after football which is now? He can't endorse anything. I'm sure Reebok and other sponsors do not want a domestic violence on their products.
Not only is his football career over his personal life is in the bushes. He should learn from this public shame session and just fade away. No reality tv, no Mo and Kita like

It doesn't have to do anything because HIS brand secured him so much DURING football that it isn't a concern to him after it. Get it in now to put your feet up later. I don't think his dignity was sacrificed and I see him as one of the better wide receiver of his generation and not a sideshow...I think the media amplified his antics simply because putting any black man on blast in any situation is a big time media draw...
I think he can be an analyst in some capacity simply because he can be charismatic and entertaining....
He'll have some people in his corner that will vouch for him if he tries to get a TV gig just like someone vouched for Irvin to get him into the TV\Radio game

Why does a grown a$$ man need another to vouch for him? Irvin is completely different. He played for one of the best teams ever and won multiple super bowls. Even with all his off the field baggage, you take that risk because he knows what he's talking about.
Can the same thing be said for Chad?

It's called a letter of recommendation. Does that sound better? You get jobs through people you know and Irvin had the right people to vouch for him and he has even admitted it himself...Irvin's off the field issues dwarf's Chad's one incident and Tom Jackson has no SB rings and Key got one by default....Just because you have no rings does not mean you are uneducated about the game of football.
Merril Hoge, JAWS, Mangini, and a plethora of other analysts do not have rings....
