Can't allow countries to think they can kill your military and get away with it. Let's see if Biden has the nuts to mount a serious military response despite being an election year.

The US has a strong enough military that they could implement a policy of for every one of ours you kill, we kill a 100 of yours and do it without breaking a sweat. But that requires not caring about your political career as much.

It's really as basic as letting people think you're a bytch or not.
If used right, this is Biden’s way to get independents

They just gave him the military justification to lay shyt DOWN

You use Viagra and multi billion dollar weapons system (that can’t even defeat Afghans in sandals) to get off

Taliban hid in caves for 20 years and only came out when the last American soldier was leaving. Let's not go there....the whole country was under lockdown with under 20K soldiers.
It's a good thing we left because it was a money pit but let's not get to excited here.

The Afghan military was quelled in 2 months. And the Taliban is a US ally right now :sas2:

:dead:

Every time America loses a war we hear hasbara

“Vietnam is our ally” (Vietnam’s leader then announces strategic cooperation with China while holding hands with Xi Jinping)

“Taliban is our ally!” (Taliban trains militants to attack US imperial bases in Middle East)

:dead:

Sure why not? I live here if it comes to defending my country why not?
Americans getting killed is a redline. When the bombs start dropping they will be begging for a ceasefire....we have seen this movie way too many times.

They pop shyt and then back down.

Who popped shyt?
Why not blame Israel for dragging America into another Middle eastern skirmish and possibly igniting a regional war.

The US issue in Afghanistan was the stated goal of nation building. That was the objective of the US and as a result failed their mission which is to build some afgani state outside of the taliban. The US expected poor Afghan farmers who have corrupt Afghan government fukking them on one side and the taliban on the other side to risk their lives and comfort to prop up some flimsy state created by some country overseas. If folks aren't willing to sacrifice to maintain a government and you have people like the Taliban willing to kill and die to rule, it's obvious who is going to win when a power vacuum is created such as when the US military left.

If you watch this, it's obvious why the nation building project failed. The new government supposed soldiers and police rather just smoke weed and fukk little boys all day. Of course the more disciplined Taliban would win when the US military leaves.

Tldr: the US failed because they tried to create an inauthentic government to rule the country . Despite all the US sucks rhetoric, the US didn't run a total war campaign in Afghanistan. They tried to win hearts and minds. That's where they fukked up.

Yeah, if they did the Gulf War or Bosnia War version…they’d be considered winners. You can’t “win” with a culture like that.

But hey, @Nkrumah Was Right thinks illiterate islamic theocracies are superior
