I remember reading an article around 99 or 2000, whenever "Livin La Vida Loca", "Bailamos", etc were topping the charts, that salsa has now overtaken ketchup as the biggest condiment in the U.S....here we are 20 years later...
I think building a relationship with the continent and slowly beginning to establish roots is wiser.Getting back to Africa has been more and more in the front of my mind. It just seems like a set up for hard times in the future for black people over here. Do I really want my kids growing up in that environment and going through that?

The issue that some African parents have with reconnecting their kids to the continent is they wait until they are much older and are accustomed to the westernized lifestyle then all of a sudden want to flip the script.
Your kids are American they didn’t grow up back home so you can’t do that. You have to survey the terrain and prepare for how life will be if you are to transition. As much as Africa has a lot of potential it’s still very much a diamond in the rough. It’s tough for people who live there all their life, imagine those who have not.
This is where those I am going back home cause the west is trash go wrong. Facts are the west offers a standard of living in some respect that is superior than most African countries.
Many returnees or diasporas African would have to go through a pioneering stage and snap out of the mindset of a foundational done system.
Then you are ahead of the game.my "future" kids....I don't have kids yet, but I hear you...
They are having their own kids but they ain't stayin with their baby mama they shack up with another nikka baby mama while another nikka shack up with their baby mamathey are simps should be having thr own kids idiot
You are aware of white supremacy and the impact it has on the Black community?I disagree...abortion is the symptom not the root cause.
Healthy relationships and families would correlate with less abortion. Too many Black relationships and families are toxic. Fix that and all else will follow...
These reactionary approach to stats isn’t going to fix this...black people need their root issues.
Africa ain't what it used to be. Them nikkas want money tooGetting back to Africa has been more and more in the front of my mind. It just seems like a set up for hard times in the future for black people over here. Do I really want my kids growing up in that environment and going through that?

Damn breh, I didn't know you were getting busy like that.I did my part. I got 2 Black sons with my ex wife and 2 Black sons with my current wife. I will not be "getting fixed" either.
This shyt is bigger than me being on this earth. I'm talking about long after I'm dead and gone. I want my sons' sons to add on and build.
A lot of you all fell for the "snip snip" white supremacy wants you to do. While yall worried about having kids and the relationship failing and child support taking 30%, I didnt give a fukk about it. Contributing to the growth of the Black population took precedent.
I'm doneDamn breh, I didn't know you were getting busy like that.
I don't think it's possible. The type of money African nations need is bigger than what Black folks in America got. I think there was a time in the 1960's where that was 100% true but in 2019. Their money movers got way more money than all of the Black billionaires combined and the money needed to really help everybody is a lot as well for most countries. You can do like bdizzle, go there, make a great life for yourself and win for yourself. But helping rebuild Africa, you need a government, not just a couple of nikkas. There's always that element. But black folks making that move and raising their kids there won't have to worry about the day to day racial element like here in the US. There's other problems there of course, no place is perfect (for example:tribal loyalty). It's been past time for us over here to go over there and help build things up. We have all of the knowledge we need at this point from our experiences over here.

Honestly, you did it the right way, but nikkas always want to extend their childhood.I'm done
Depending on what you mean. If you are talking about personal investments, I agree but if you are talking about building up Africa, Black America has no shot in heck. Even the locals with means don't. You need government for that. It's never going to be one person, but somebody has to start the process. It takes those on the ground, not the government.
