Immigration. Latinos that are native to the US have a decent number of kids and then their numbers get reinforced with people hopping the border.

If we could get Nigerians, Senegalese, Ghanians etc., coming over in crazy numbers...that black percentage would grow exponentially. We're the oldest group outside of Native Americans. The vast majority of black Anericans' ancestors arrived between 1619 and 1808 (when international slave trade was "outlawed" in the US). Many whites/Asians/Latinos didn't have people arrive until after the Civil War.

It would not matter because culture wise we are not one group.
The reality is us black Americans are the ones hurting the most in this country
