Blame Vince for booking his heels like cowards and chumps while booking his faces to be Mary Sue types that aren’t remotely interesting.

Point is he can’t book a heel strong. Every heel gets the jbl title reign where 100% of their successful defenses come from someone interfering. Even if they cheat, they need to get some wins solo. Half the time the heel doesn’t even cheat anymore.

They missed the perfect opportunity to turn him heel when the shield was in it's peak. Cena Should've joined the Shield by having them help him beat The Rock at WM 29 in NY. Then that would've led to the successful face turn of Roman Reigns down the line where he would break away from the Shield and beat Cena for the title.

But It's way to late now to turn Cena Heel because nobody cares anymore and he isn't in his prime
