At this point you can't really blame Cena no more, the whole roster is bland from main event scene, to midcard and of course the jobber realm. D-Bry is the exception in the midst of all this, yet for some ridiculous reason they refuse to put the strap on him. Blame the creative team and whoever has their foot on the creative team's neck. Bringing in Brock, Rock, Taker etc is awesome, but it also shows how pathetic everyone looks in comparison to them.

If true he ought to be suspended without pay for 30 days for that...they need to send a message
Than just give the night of champions match to Daniel Bryan and they can have a submission match that they both have been clamoring for and we can sit back and witness a classic before our eyes:bryan:

They also do not have the Face depth to afford a Cena Heel turn. They haven't been able to elevate a face who can take Cena's mantle for if/when he turns.

Yeah...reading this made me seriously reconsider a John Cena heel turn because when you REALLY think about it, who would replace him as top face?

Who else is would be able to relate to the urban and suburban market? Who else is clean-cut & family-friendly enough to be chosen for these Make-A-Wish visits? Not CM Punk (even though he's straight-edge)...not Orton (tatted and just came off a wellness violation)....not Sheamus (doesn't appeal to both urban & suburban)....probably not even Daniel Bryan (yet).

The Miz could do probably it but he's a heel and he doesn't have the larger-than-life look that Cena has. Dolph's clean-cut but he's been heel for a long time as well. Jack Swagger does the visits but then again, Jack Swagger sucks. Cena just looks like a stereotypical good guy pro wrestler and he can talk. :manny:

(Thinking about this makes me realize how badly a guy like John Morrison blew a HUGE opportunity for himself. Imagine if he'd been fire on the mic. He'd probably be near the top right about now. :beli:

I'm not even a Cena fan but I guess we just have to deal until someone else emerges.

Wats needed is a fresh angle where the whole corporate side ( Triple H, Vince, etc.) is all against Cena. Cena was at his prime when the Nexus went at him. This would push him over as a good guy if he goes against an unstoppable force of evil

enough with the whole 'there aren't enough' faces argument...this was true maybe a year ago but now you have punk and sheamus to go with rko , mysterio , and they can possibly turn dbryan face too...keeping cena face right now is just playing it safe , its also lazy writing.

Been saying this for years, these guys are doing nothing for the future of the company, especially when you consider they're just coming in and not putting people over.

At his prime? :ohlawd: That was the same old shyt except instead of going over one wrestler he went over 6 at once. Smh at the angle where he got fired, yet showed up on raw the next week after. :mindblown:

Punk's made the heel turn and is unbearable as a face he's more of tweener, RKO is over as a face but he can't stay away from weed, hoes and performance enhancing drugs, Sheamus is doing his best as a face but no one really cares. D-Bry and Mysterio would be the best bet, but I doubt they will let Bryan run as their main guy. I don't care about Mysterio but he's the quintessential face. The dude can't stay healthy to save his soul though.

That's BS. Lesnar is going down at Mania no matter what. Rock will likely put someone over at Mania this year too despite it being rejected by the NY and international crowd on hand. That won't change the fact that the follow up to them putting someone over is gonna be weak because no one has the desire to be great and to change things up. Well..except for Daniel Bryan right now but they're trying to handcuff him to stop him from completely taking over. This guy's stuff was lending into major sports with the Yes Mania but they went with Sheamus and a guy who's a wannabe Stone Cold prodigy? LOL.

Punk: Heel
D-Bry: Heel
Mysterio: Too brittle to rely on for a heavy work load
RKO: coming off suspension
Sheamus: Face

Other than random Face turns by Kane and Big Show, no there aren't enough Main Event Level faces to accommodate a heel turn by Cena. The writers were "playing it safe" and "lazily writing" by not elevating mid-card faces to Main Event Level.
