I wish I knew. I'd like to know my percentages. I know I'm white somewhere. I'm more interested in if I'm really cherokee like my father claims. Although, my alcoholism is pretty reassuring of a native American heritage.

Jessica's mom is a lily white woman. Her dad is mexican. She mentioned her dad's family is from Guadalajara. In Guadalajara/Jalisco there are a lot of "white" people, but her dad looks like he has significant indigenous blood.

My mom is from a region right outside of Guadalajara. She took one of these tests and came back 12% Indigenous, 5% North African, and the rest European (Mostly Iberian and Italian/Greek). Even though she is technically mostly "white", she does not consider herself white. Newsflash, Latin America is made up of mostly mixed people of Indigenous European and African backgrounds.

From what I've learned 23 and me is a good place for DNA tests. It was suggested in a video I watched that you also get samples from your mother and father to get a more accurate picture of your background
