Social contagion is a thing. Mental illness is being glamorized by mentally ill "influencers". Who want to monetize their conditions.

I blame social media
Have a daughter
She's not touching that until adulthood, hopefully
Self esteem needs to be enforced
Know oneself
Love oneself
Social media is clearly to blame.
How are you going to keep your daughter off of social media?
Like, what strategies are you going to employ?
Education is paramountYou can keep it from them but anything they want to see they’ll see it anyway those 9 hours they’re at school. TIKTOK, IG, Snapchat, all of it. That’s what makes parenting so tough now.
sexual violence jumped damn near 10% in 4 years and mfs only talking about social media
more like general societal breakdown
It's social media. People are opting to self diagnose and self medicate rather than seek professional help. As to sexual violence, social media amplifies that as well through cyberbullying and harrassment of victims.sexual violence jumped damn near 10% in 4 years and mfs only talking about social media

Social media got these kids mental health in a chokehold
What do you think the status quo is?Social Media is partially a reason but not the sole issue, this country NEEDS a makeover but people are too busy trying to uphold a status quo that is ancient and fading.
More like 5 yearsAmerica will likely be Japan status in 40 years
It’s the social media duh
Remember when that bombshell dropped that Facebook basically had done research proving that social media was harmful to the psyches of it’s users but didn’t tell anybody about the results ?
The demographic most affected was young women.
