CBS Reportedly Plans To Bring Back Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s Captain Sisko

ive been wondering something about the end of ds9

so the prophets tell sisko he cant marry kasidy because the pain of him being gone would be too much to bear for him, which is probably why his wife had to go(or maybe that was a life lesson for sisko himself) but then why let him have jake? in that one episode where ben was blinking in and out of time at large amounts of time, jake mourned him for a long time, then gave up his life to try to get him back. in fact it looks like if it wasnt for kasidy and the baby on the way, he might be going down the same path at the end

In that timeline every time Jake would move on he would see his father and that hope was there. That does not happen with the prophets.

Are any of these new Star Trek shows any good? I never hear anybody talking about them like as if it was something hot on Netflix, HBO, Disney, or even Amazon

I wish I knew, I refuse to pay extra

Dude hasn’t worked in Hollywood for like over 15 years, hopefully he’s kept in shape

Seems like Star Trek is trying and failing to get on the nostalgia train still. I get being excited but given how Picard turned out, why would you trust this.

They should just reboot ds9 and let the fukery commence. I think it’s easier to build a show where the supporting characters are all stopping at a space station.
