You know I should have known this. George W Bush sent out them little ass checks in the early 2000s and people remember those too. There isn't no credible news sites talking about but there was some buzz on YT about it. There's this Youtuber who modeled his whole damn channel around stimmy checks and he's still regularly uploading videos in 2024 talking about them
