This is why I keep saying all these marches, think pieces, and activism for clout are pointless. It is not in their best interest to change anything. You see they are claiming they’re the ones oppressed, and discriminated against now. Simply hearing about our experiences is lowering their quality of life. They know what they are doing. I used to debate, and try to explain, because I thought they didn’t get it, and the social media activists act like it’s our job to make them understand. Notice how they love telling us to be colorblind, then use terms like black crime. We give attention to black people doing positive things, and they get mad. It makes them mad for us to give attention to black people doing good things. Then when we want to support black businesses, it’s racist. Well how the hell did you get to your level? Oh, it’s owning stuff, and putting your own people on.
But here’s the problem. We are too emotional, and need attention. So instead of just doing it, we have to announce it. I’ve been watching Big Brother from the beginning. Every season, they usually get rid of the few black people early on. One girl, Dayvonne, announced she wasn’t going to vote out any of the black people.
Why would they keep you around after you told them you’re going to target, and vote them out? She kept going on about Breonna Taylor. Ok. But you know they hate that kind of stuff, and this is a game. Stop putting your emotions ahead of your money. The next season, they finally had 5 black people, and they formed a secret alliance, while appearing to be in other alliances. All of them had a non black number 2 who kept them safe. They stayed on code. Guess what? We got a black winner. Last season, we had another black winner, but the house, including the other black people hated her, because the girls were jealous she was so bad.
Even the black men hated her, although the younger one did smash. But she was able to pull off a win. BUT I DIGRESS
The point is, we have a hard time working together. We fight over the most petty shyt. We can’t get organized. And we consistently look to other groups for approval. On this very site, brehs get excited when a white female celebrity dates a black man. Don’t get me started on how easily we give out cookout invitations.
