Im a hip hop head and know most the battle rappers by name but never been a big battle rap fan. I’m in the minority and would prefer they rap over beats. And all the antics and theatrics like this and getting in nikkas faces extra close while rhyming, I just ain’t a big fan of that. battle rap is you actually displaying how superior your rap skills are than other rappers, this is what a real battle is, either you doing flow somebody can't do or you coming up with wittier lyrics styled in a way that has a wow factor, the disses were always secondary, and more in lines disses on the rappers ability or subpar appearance at worst, sometimes they got a tad disrespectful but not in a malicious way.
