Carmen wasn't the best character, but at least she had a presence. Veronica wasn't that interesting and they could have done the entire last season without her.

Also, did anyone notice that they made Max really stupid in the last season? He was dyslexic and everything, but he used to just be a regular kid. In the last season, he didn't know where Phoenix was and he couldn't figure out half of 30. Plus, it got to the point where even George couldn't stand him anymore.
