This. Very, very weak discography.Compared to his peers too
Hes in a weak era and benefits from people liking him as a person.
Give me Future over J Cole,give me Sauce Walka over J Cole,give me Sada Baby over J Cole. J Cole is just kind of boring as an emcee/lyricist. And i better not see any of you nikkas who was trying to downplay Fabolous in that "Fab is better than Nas" thread in here hyping up Cole. Because he damn sure aint better than Fab

1. Cole has a classic Fab doesn’t though real talk is one of my favorite rap albums
2. Cole for the last decade has been a better songwriter and lyricist than Fab has been his entire career.
3. Cole has had more impact, influence, and longetivity than Fab.

2. And no,just no. J Coles song writing isnt abegter than Fab. You mean his songs are more meaningful. Fine,thats a matter of preference. But hes not writing the deepest bars ive ever heard. His songs are pretty basic and paint by numbers in that regard. Theres no universe where J Cole has better bars than Fab. We can go right now if yall wanna go quotable for quotable.

I’ve listened to all things fab.
Neither are writing the deepest bars. IMO there’s only a handful that does (Ka (RIP), Lu,) Cole is by far a better rapper than Fab. Cole has a top 4 feature run (Wayne, Eminem, Busta), a classic, sales, longetivity, influence, and impact: he’s objectively ranked higher than Fab for sure.
No one cares about no damn ratings in real life. The album is either good great or classic. the impact and longetivity it has makes it a classic.
You have to have multiple classics to be considered top 10, Cole isn’t anywhere close to top 10
